Fight for what you Believe in: Portland, OR Protests

In Portland, OR activists are meeting the  Royal Dutch-Shell's icebreaker Fennica in an effort to block the first leg of the journey to explore oil drilling in the Arctic. Green Peace hopes the delay of the project will encourage President Obama to reconsider Shell's drilling permits.
Thousands of kayakers sit at the mouth of the Williamette River in protest and they're set up for the long haul. This is a magnificent display of standing up for what you believe in. Understanding how valuable our waters and natural resources are is fundamental for our own and our planets survival. We are wishing success through these protests and stand behind all of you who are out there fighting. Stand strong!
